Studying Magic to find family!

Opening the door, Astra comes in with a large cloak on. Her ling curled hair ringlets tailing behind her as her braids accent her. She nods to the bartender, walking up to make an order. ”A bottle of house wine, and uh….”

Astra looks over the menu of the day, ”…the shark steak steeped in whisperwood sap and seasoned with the tavern’s signature spice.”

As the bartend writes the order, they gesture for her to seat herself. The half empty bar is quiet, only sounded by Astra’s footsteps and a few other patrons playing a game of cards. She finds a booth, sitting herself down with her basket of herbs and bag with a noticeable lack of clinking. She digs in her bag for a moment, before taking out a book. She sits it on the table along with some parchment as she grabs her food and wine from the server.

She opens her book, holding it open with one and and wine glass in another.

The tavern doors swing open and a woman strides through. She has yellow scales adorning her arms, along the sides of her face, and across her forehead. She has two small horns poking out from her hair. She is wearing leather armor and black pants. As she walks into the tavern, she is using the end of her glaive which crackles with lightning as a walking stick. On her left hip is a rather plain looking short sword.

She stands at the entrance of the tavern for several moments, taking in the view of the place. Her eyes linger over Astra and her book. Then she spots the Draconian soldiers and lets out a huff. She strides across the tavern and finds an empty table. She sits down and leans her glaive against the table, then unsheathes her sword and lays it down on the table.

She waves a barkeep over. "I'd like a glass of Elven wine and whatever tonight's special is." She set's a gold coin in the woman's hand and smiles politely. "Keep my glass full, darling, and there's more coin in your future."

As the blushing barkeep walks away to procure her order, the woman looks over at Astra and smiles, just watching her read quietly.

Miquella walks into the tavern. He glances around the room to see the people enjoying themselves. He walks up to the barkeep. “Hello, may I get a water and stew please.” He hands the barkeep a gold and moves to an empty table to sit down. He takes a moment and closes his eyes before opening them again and pulling out a book. Flipping the pages.

Looking upward for a moment, the crackling of the glaive catching her attention. She stares at it, along with with Storm of a moment. She then catches Miquella, giving him a small wave as a gesture to sit with her if he so chooses.

Her eyes drag back over to Storm, studying her for a moment. She looks at the scales, noting their design. Whispering under her breath, she sighs. ”Don’t you go and ask Astra, its rude to ask people of they are related to dragons!”

Miquella notices Astra and shifts seats and sits across from her. “Hello Astra how are you?” He says with a hint of tiredness in his voice. After a few moment the barkeep brings him his water and stew. He slowly eats.

The woman smiles at Astra and wiggles her fingers in a wave. "Hello!"

The barkeep returns and sets her drink and food in front of her. She picks up her glass and holds it up in a sort of long distance salute.

"My dear," She calls the barkeep back over. "I'll buy her next drink." She smiles at Astra again as the barkeep turns to leave to fulfill her request.
