Studying Magic to find family!

Selena quirks her eyebrow and extends her hand. "I mean I can show you what they look like, but they're in a part of my manor only those I trust are allowed so.." She shrugs. "If you just want to see them, take my hand, close your eyes and clear your mind. I can share my memories and view others'. I can just show you one of the times I was in the garden."

Miquella watches the exchange between Selena and Astra. He continues eating until he is done. He takes his empty bowl and cup up to the counter and places it down for the barmaid, “Thank you. It was delicious.” He says with a smile. He places an extra gold on the counter and walks back to the table. He looks at Selena and Astra waiting for their exchange to end.

Excitedly, Astra grabs Selena’s hands, closing her eyes to really take in what she’s about to see.

As soon as Astra takes her hand, a couple of the soldiers standing guard seem to stiffen up a bit and watch the two closer. Selena takes a deep breath and closes her eyes.

After a couple of seconds the image begins to appear in Astra's mind. The air is hot and thick and feels slightly off, not uncomfortable, but just not what she's used to. The sun above her doesn't seem to be producing the heat, instead the heat is just in the air around her.

The smell of the dragon's blood becomes thicker around them as the image of a large plot of desert land with 3-4 dragon's blood trees, along with other desert plants scattered about in the area. In the distance the sound of orders being barked out to soldiers and feet stomping as they move can be heard. The sound of a waterfall much closer off to the right. There are not sounds of birds or any other animals however.

Astra sees herself walking towards one of the trees and a black scaled hand reaches out to touch the trunk of one of the smaller ones and Astra can feel the roughness of the bark on her own hand as she's still sitting in the tavern. She can feel the sap sticking to her fingers and the crunch of the dirt under her feet.

After what seems like to the rest of the tavern as only a few seconds, but to Astra several minutes, Selena pulls back the vision and slowly pulls her mind out of Astra's, blinking slowly as she pulls her hand back, glancing to the soldiers and giving them a nod as they relax ever so slightly.

Selena pops her neck and leans back in her chair once more, taking another sip from her bottle. "So yeah. There ya go. I'll try to remember to get you and the mage's guild whatever I can give."

Astra rubs her eyes, yawning.”Please do though, I would love nothing more than to help find remedies and advance Volaire.”

Selena nods. "I'll give what I can. For now however, I'm tired of being inside!"
She stands up and places her sword back in it's sheath.
"I want to go sit in the sun, or in the..." She pauses and her eyes widen in excitement.
"The guild! I gotta go see Marquanthis!"

She turns to Miquella with a smile, practically bouncing in place. "You! I have no news for you yet. I'm still waiting on stuff and things. But I'm gonna go over to the guild!"
