Studying Magic to find family!

Selena smirks and nods as Storm waves at Astra. "Good. Always finish the brawls though."

She gives her a grin and a wink before she turns back to head to Miquella and Astra's table plopping down in a chair, and propping her feet up in an empty chair, laying her sword over her lap again, waving a barmaid over with her usual drink.

"Sorry. Had to take the chance to meet another female and see where her loyalties lie. And make sure she's not gonna try to... encroach on my property. Luckily it seems I have nothing to worry about with that one, which is quite refreshing."
She says to Miquella, then whispers to Astra. "I think she likes you."

When the barmaid brings her drink, she gives her a nod in thanks and hands her a few piece of gold before popping the cork and taking a long sip directly from the bottle grimacing at the taste. "Really?" She looks at the bottle as if it'll answer her question, then rolls her eyes.
"Uum. I wasn't actually looking for anyone in particular. I just came out cause I wanted to feel the sun again. Then my men told me about her so I came in to introduce myself."

Miquella looks at Selena and takes a bite of his food, “Are all draconian territorial?” He smiles when he says it. He looks at Astra, “So, what brought you here tonight?”

Storm turns to her stew, eating as though she hasn't eaten in a long while. She glances up and reaches for her wine glass, winking at Astra as she does so. The barmaid walks up to her table with a bottle in her hands and she refills Storm's glass. She smiles up at the barmaid. "Thank you, sweetheart." Then watches as the barmaid walks away before returning to her meal.

Astra blushes a little harder at Selena whisper. She twiddles her fingers for a minute, flustered and embarrassed as she notices the wink.

”Oh, uhm, to answer you Miquella…I was looking to get out of the guild for a little. As you said, a remedy for petrification would be very handy, its intensive to make and somewhat costly. We decided we’d spend our efforts tomorrow to finish it and not spend another night up.”

Astra pulls out a book, setting it back on the table next to her wine glass as she finishes her last bite. She re-opens it and finds the page on ‘dragon’s blood’.”I will ask Mari the next I see her, but I went out to the library and am looking for an herb called Dragon’s Blood. Its a red herb used for its cleansing and purifying properties. I decided if we manage to make this remedy, having more on hand would be useful.”

She then turns a few pages, showing things like mint, nettle, feverfew, and other various herbs. The parchment paper next to her is littered with drawings and words in common and elvish, as if she was translating them.

”To be fair, I was combining my notes on herbs, Miss Silverleaf’s notes, and known stuff about herbs to build a book for the guild about herbs…like a…”

She thinks for a moment, sipping her wine and looking her notes back over.

”…book. I’d call it Astra’s Guide to Herbology!”

She laughs a little at her own statement.

"Actually, females aren't allowed to be territorial. But I do a lot that I'm not allowed to do cause I don't give a fuck. They're mine." She smirks and shrugs.

Selena cranes her neck over to get a better look at the book. "I can get you some dragon's blood. I've got a couple trees at the manor."

She shrugs again and takes another sip from her bottle, leaning back in her chair once more. "I love the smell."

With wide, glittering eyes, Astra leans over the table with a huge, adorable smile. ”You do?! Could I see them?! They have certain nuts for reproduction and can have fruits! Not to mention their sap is where the herb is from! I’ve only ever seen ONE tree, and that was after a month of searching the warmest places in the Sihde!”
