Two haltija walk into town

"Oh look! There is one of them now. Good afternoon guil-AHH!"

Jade falls to the ground with the tackle. Jade tries to get up but is tightly held in place by Saige's hug. Jade gives up on trying to stand up and hugs Saige back.

"Oh don't cry Saige. It's ok. I'm not mad. Honestly I thought you didn't want to be my friend anymore and I felt really guilty."

"You're not mad? You promise?" Saige looks at Jade with teary eyes before helping her up, however, she doesn't let her go. "But I was really mean and Miquella said that you're going to throw me in jail and that he was going to go get Basil because I'm bad and too chaos-y and a rebel..."

“Correction. I said that if push came to shove she could throw you in jail. Not that she is.” Miquella looks irritated.

"He is a little right. If this happened to anyone else that probably would be the outcome. However, I knew the line I had crossed and such is why I made sure I not only had witnesses but I also ordered everyone around us to stand down. I know Saige would never try to actually kill us. Everyone gets mad sometimes and some of us just get extra mad. To be honest, I would have left you there Saige, but I was scared. I knew you couldn't get that door open by yourself. And I was scared that if somehow Valerie's minions got in they would try to hurt you. She is up to something and I don't know what it is. The uncertainty is making me worried for us all."

Jade squeezes Saige again with another hug. When she does she looks up and sees Roman. Jade holds her hands up to was Roman with her palms out.

"No Roman it's ok! These are friends! Not a threat!"

Roman releases his grip on his sword and puts his hands up. "I'm sorry. I'm just... She startled me." Roman smiles at Saige and Miquella. "Talbag. Eh... Hello. My name is Roman. It's nice to meet you."

Miquella smiles, “Hello Roman. My name is Miquella. I am the Guildmaster of the Guild of Light. It is wonderful to meet you.”
