He looks at her while fidgeting with the token in hand. “I don’t care to much for large crowds such as this. But, at the end of the day it is something I can come to live with. Especially in a crucial time such as this.” He smiles back warmly. “I’m curious on how these proceedings will occur. I have been thinking a lot the past week.”

She chuckles nervously. "I'm not a big fan of large gatherings either. Especially with so many nobles. It's pretty intimidating." She gasps. "But don't think about that right now! Um... I'm sorry."

Miquella smiles and let’s put a small chuckle. “I can see how that can be intimidating. The nobles are not really what bothers me. It’s the people who stare. I mean I’m sure there are not of lot of people like me walking around.” He takes a small breath. “Also, no need to be sorry. We can be there for each other with all of these wondering eyes.” He continues to fidget the small token. Seemingly anxious as he glances around the room. Then after a moment he takes a breath and seems more relaxed.

Rachelle continues wringing her hands in her lap. "You would think I would be used to it by now." She pauses and takes a deep breath before continuing. "But anyways. I hear you are studying under Harrold? Or will be?"

Miquella begins speaking, “I am actually. We have kinda started already. We are discussing my goals as of right now, and then proceeding from there. It’s going well so far. I am very happy I joined with the Guild. It’s proving to be very helpful.” He stops fidgeting for but a moment. “I hope I’m being of good use for the Guild. I want to assist in any way I can.”

In a darker corner of the building a young haltija can be seen materializing from the darkness. Once fully out of the shadowy nothingness she stands upright and fixes her dress. She is is draped in a long flowing black dress. Her hair is in a tight bun on top of her head and she is followed by a veil of purple spider webs. On her hip she has a red and black belt favor along with a small satchel that seems to be... moving?
Jade then scans the room and begins to walk towards the mass of people.
