Noble Court - June of 622

"He's lookin at me like he hates me more than Marq and the light brights do." She snort chuckles and shrugs. "Oh well, sure he doesn't mind me too much when the gifts arrive."

Her smile drops for the first time since spotting Dorian when he hints at why they're there. "Yeah. I'm glad to be out, but wish it was on better terms. I would have brought my gaggle with me, but alas, this is Ariadnian kingdom's business so the rest of the scaly boys have to stay out of it."

She pauses and snaps back to Dorian. "Oh! I no longer have a squire!... little shit decided he'd rather work from the shadows." She chuckles again. "He's good at it, so, oh well."

Dorian quirks an eyebrow. "From knight to... Well. Okay then. Whatever makes him happy. A shame to lose a good squire but this road is not an easy one." He smiles again. "Tristan is thinking of joining the mages guild. Training to become a "true fire mage" as he puts it. He's learned a lot on his own but the Guild could teach him so much more."

"I can probably sneak him into our library next time you can pop over for a visit. If he's gotten that level of control by then ya know."

Selena and Dorian continue to catch up, chit chatting about their kids, and training, though Selena's being careful not to say any names out loud, merely referring to them as her daughter, and sons.

In a white robe adorned with gold buttons down the front, and the symbol of the Guild of Light hanging from his belt. Gold like tattoos show on his face with a symbol centered on his forehead. Miquella walks into the building, and quickly scans the scene. He notices the other members of his guild and nods in their discretion with a warm smile. He looks for an empty seat and sits down with his hands on his lap. He pulls out a small token and fiddles with it. Waiting for the event to unfold.

Selena watches the light mage cross the room and join his guild mates, and gives a wave of greeting to the light guild members, then leans in to Dorian. "Who's that one? I know Marq and the Guildmistress, but who's he? He a noble or one of the ones who saved the woman?"

Rachelle leans over and smiles. "Hi Miquella. How are you doing with all this?"

Dorian shrugs. "I'm not sure who that is. I doubt he's a noble. They would have notified us, I'm sure."
