Noble Court - June of 622

Miquella steps up awaiting the man to fall. He turns to Rachelle, “If his wounds are to critical I will need assistance in healing the idiot. However, if he still breaths I can sustain him.” He looks at Jade in confirmation and then to Dorian. “The king needs to get to safety.” He looks at Jade. “I apologize, but I feel this hearing may have to be postponed for the moment. At least until we can figure out what is occurring here.”

Jade nods

"Of course. This is beyond treason to the kingdom. This is a safety concern for everyone. Selina holds a lot of power over things that no longer exist due to where she came from. We need to make sure she is safe. Damage to her could mean the unraveling of reality as we know it."

The man's body eventually falls back to the ground, landing in critical condition next to his severed leg.

Guildmisstress Lyra remains still as the chaos erupts around her, and once things are settled back down, she closes her book, and places it back in her bag. "Welp. I'm going back to my guild to prepare some weapons and armor and repair kits. Seems you all are going to need them." She gives a short bow to the king and exits calmly, stepping over debris from the roof.

Running into the court and to Lady Jade he says "sorry I'm late. I was held up. What happened here?" Still with his swords in his hands he scans around looking at the ceiling asking again in disbelief "what in the hell happened"

Miquella walks over to the body. He looks the body over. “Marquanthis I will need some assistance with this.” Miquella will start with placing his hands on the body. “I call upon the ancient arts to cure your wounds.” He will then begin to stop the open wound from his leg in hopes to keep him alive.

Jade walks over to the severed leg and picks it up. While holding it by the exposed femur she tucks it under her arm.

"A trail turned into just complete, unhinged chaos. Once this man wakes up we will have more answers. But for now hold him down so he can't fight back once he is conscious again"
