Fighting off hunger

Connor smiled back. "No I'm okay for now. Thank you for the opportunity to help." He passes a bowl to someone in line. "It's just nice to be able to do something helpful."

Miquella looks to Conner, “I understand what you mean. Listen, if you ever want to volunteer here at the Guild just let me or Selena know. The guild can always use help. Especially from a light user such as yourself.” He smiles as he passes a bowl. A 17 year old boy and a young girl make their way to the front. “Vespin and Quinn, I’m happy to see you both are doing better. Here take some time to eat and there is some water at the end.” The two smile and nod as they take the bowl and move down. Miquella look in the crowd to see how Kalil is doing.

Kalil is seen with a group of farmers discussing things like seeds and when to plant them and where, to talk of harvesting and what best methods to use. They share a few jokes and tips until it is their turn in line. Kalil says his good byes to them as Connor holds out a bowl then turns to smile at Connor who smiles back, and finally heads back into the gathered crowd towards another family in line.

As the evening progresses and the towns people eat their meals and enjoy the music the tovi people play, Zinna smiles as she looks out at the people, watching the smiling faces of children dancing along with one of her many cousins. She takes a turn watching Jade, Connor, Kalil, and Miquella a sense of pride present in her body language.

Jade sits by the fire and watches the people dance. She smiles as the warm glow envelopes her face.

"This is nice... Even in these awful circumstances we all came together and made the best out of this."

She turns to the others and nods in appreciation.

As the night closes the pots are empty, bowls are stacked, and the citizens slowly start to move away from the Guild. Miquella looks to those wearing guild colors and speaks to them softly while they nod their head. He moves to the Guild, “Outer ward down” the tables and other items slowly are being moved inside. Only a few minutes have past and everything is moved inside, “Outer ward up.” Miquella moves to those who came to help. “Thank you. The Guild appreciates your help. Did you all enjoy yourselves?” Miquella stands patiently smiling.
