I’m not a wannabe mage! was created by Lady Astra
Wiping her face and with heavy steps, Astra carries an empty, intricately made stone bowl. The marking of the moon along the rim superior in design catching Astra’s attention. It hadn’t been moments before her incident with the Guild of Light and Lady Jade, but the words Commander Selena stuck with her and stung her ears.
”..you insane wannabe mage…”
Astra sighs, curling up on the ground outside of the Guild. She sobs quietly as she reflects. Not only did she harm yet another person, her accomplishments suddenly nothing to her.
“B-back home, I was respected for knowing what I knew. The curses…I know the difference between Tovi curses and others. She misunderstood me…”
Sobbing, Astra wipes her face with a cloth from her pocket. Sewn in the corner, her name in lilac on the black cloth. She wipes her face, holding it close to her. She stares at it for a moment, gazing upon the sewing.
“I miss my home. I miss my coven. I miss the hunts. I miss my alchemy lab. I miss my mom…”
She cries into her knees.
”Amarantha was right, I am useless. Commander Selena, Lady Jade, everyone… I’ve always been a bother. Perhaps I am better off leaving off alone. Wild elves don’t accept me. I don’t think anyone would accept the wild magic mage…”
She takes off her locket, looking down at the picture. Her mother and her lost sibling, a brother. She sobs harder, before composing herself slightly.
“…and I miss you, Lucas. Where did you go? You set out to save the world, but havent come home in almost a century. I’m so much older now, I wish you could see me…*hic*…you’d be so proud of me…”
“…you may want to go to the mage’s guild and get the backing of a guild…if you are as you say you are…”
Wiping her face with her handkerchief again, she stands up. “Lucas would laugh at me, tell me how much of a silly wolf I am if he saw me crying. He’d encourage me the same way that Miquella fellow did…”
She sits there, then stands up. She approaches the door, giving it a gentle but hopefully audible knock.
“H-Hello..? Is there somebody I may speak to about training? I-I’m not from here, but I like to think I’ve got some unique alchemist and potion-craft skills!”

The outer ward lowers and the door opens. A middle aged woman with long black hair and blue eyes with crows feet opens the door. She wears long royal blue robes with silver along the hems. On her belt is the mages guild favor.
"How may I help you, young lady?" She looks Astra over, her hands clasped loosely in front of her.

Nervously, she speaks. “Uhm, hello. I-I’m Astra. I-I’ve lived in the Sidhe my whole life and I know nothing of the world here. I was told that I should probably come here to learn and use my magic in ways and get some help?”
Astra shakes her head with a sigh.
“I guess what I’m trying to say is that I wish to join your guild. I’ve got decent alchemy and potion crafting abilities with a few spells and my own sword. I can do most of anything you may ask for me to prove myself if that’s necessary.”
She takes a deep breath.
“Is your guild master around? I feel this is a matter they would like to hear…”

The woman nods her head slightly. "I see. Well, the Guildmaster is away at the moment but perhaps I could be of some use. My name is Kethri. It's a pleasure to meet you Astra." She bows her head slightly in greeting. "We have many teachers here and a few crafters as well. Come inside and we can discuss this further."
She steps to the side and gestures into the building. Behind her, Astra can see a large spacious room with a rather sizable desk at the front. Along the walls are more Mages Guild banners and a few red and gold Kingdom banners as well.
Several people in blue and silver are rushing around inside and one stands at the front desk busily scribbling away on a scroll.
Once she steps inside, Kethri leads Astra to a nearby empty table with two chairs. She takes a seat and gestures to the empty one across from her.
"Please, have a seat and we can discuss what you know of magic already and what you would like to learn."

”O-oh! Thank you Miss Kethri! I would be happy to talk, it seems that is hard to come by with all the troubles I’ve heard about recently…”
Astra takes a seat, gently lowering bag to the ground as she adjusts her belt in her seat. She sits a few potions on the table.
“How would you like to start, Miss Kethri?”

Kethri taps her fingers on the table mindlessly. "Hm... How about you tell me what interests you more? What your focus is? Are you a mage or do you prefer your alchemy and potions?"
