I’m not a wannabe mage!

Astra gently holds out her hand, looking at the favor. She smiles, gingerly taking it. “Thank you! I’m looking forward to our lessons! I’ll wear it next to my brooch!”

She quickly pins it next to an intricate brooch, emerald colored gems set up in a way that a portion of it hangs off of her smock. Astra smiles, excitedly.

“When would you like to start, Miss Kethri?”

Kethri taps a finger to her chin. "Let's find out exactly how advanced you are and then we'll see what I can teach you."

Kethri turns and motions for Astra to follow her. She leads her to the hallway she had just been down. "Ward down." And steps into the hall, waiting for Astra to follow. "We'll update things so you have control of the wards here. Only members can enter the inner areas of the Guild."

She continues down the hallway, passing several doors on the way. Finally she stops at one and opens it. "Welcome to the training room."

She watches the wards come down, passing through them as she follows Miss Kethri. She looks through open doors, taking a peek at things around as she follows.

Astra looks in, walking into the training room as she opens the door. Excitedly, she pulls out a book, reading over her spells.

"So what is the most powerful spell you know?" Kethri asks, watching Astra look over her spells but keeping enough distance so she does not look at her book directly.

”My most powerful…hmm…”

Astra reads over her book, and snaps her fingers.

”I can generate spikes and cause and cure some light wounds…should I preform them?”

Kethri shakes her head. "Not necessary. Not yet anyways. It seems we'll need to train you a little more before I can teach you darkness or fire magics. But that's okay. We can work on some of the more basic spells for now."

Kethri turns back to the door. "Now I'll show you to the lab."
