Heading to Foresetidale

Saige, Storm, and Jade make their way through town, heading for the Foresetidale portal.

While walking, Saige turns to Jade. “You’re going to love them! Just watch your back around the twins. And maybe don’t mention anything about magic just yet…. Oh! And as far as they know, my eyes came from a potion accident, absolutely no vampire stuff.”

She turns to Storm. “I’m excited for you to get to know them. I mean, you briefly met them. But now we don’t have the threat of death looming over us.”

Storm nods. "Yeah. It'll be nice to get to know them without having to rush around."

When they reach the embassy and walk inside, Knightmaster Fallin is just inside.

"I need you to check on the guilds and find out if any of them need additional help or healing." He orders to a group of six knights standing in a "u" shape around him.

Each of the knights gives a salute and then break off into pairs heading into town.

Fallin turns around as the trio enters and gives them a tired smile. "Hello again and hello Baroness." He presses a fist over his heart and bows slightly to them before straightening. "Can I help with anything?"

“Hi there. We would like to go to the safe house and check on my family, if that’s okay?”

Jade walks in and curtsies to the knight.

"Good evening sir. Yes as Saige said we are here to check on her family. If it's alright with you, may we please use the portal to go check on the group?"

Knightmaster Fallin nods. "Of course. I'll take you to them."

He turns and leads them through the embassy to the back room where the guarded portal is. The soldiers there all give a salute as they pass by.

Fallin leads the group through the portal and once on the other side, he looks to one of the soldiers by the portal. "I'm taking the Baroness, Miss Saige, and their friend to the safe house to see her family. Alert the Baroness."

The solider nods and immediately takes off out of the embassy.

Fallin turns to the group. "Okay. Follow me."

He waits a moment and then leads them out into the city of Dalefaer. The city streets are busy with people of various races heading to and from businesses and homes. Fallin looks over his shoulder as they walk.

"Your family has been well cared for by all reports. Nothing unusual has happened. No one has even attempted to harm them." He chuckles. "I have heard that the twins have made several escape attempts but they have failed so far thanks to your advice about locking them in from outside."

Storm walks arm in arm with Saige just taking in the sights of the city.

“That’s good! Yeah, the twins can be a nightmare. They take after mom.”

Saige happily walks with Storm, and brings Jade up to her other side.
