Heading to Foresetidale

After several minutes of walking and many turns down streets leading deeper and deeper into town. They finally approach a large house. It blends in with the rest of the houses of Forsetidale though this one is separate and stands amidst a cove of trees that provide plenty of shade for the home. There appears to be no guards by the front door and Fallin walks them right up to the door without hassle.

"Ward down." As soon as the words leave his lips a ward at the front door lowers. He opens the door and gestures them inside. When they step inside they find themselves in a small foyer hall where two guards wait at the end in front of yet another door. "Ward up." Fallin falls in place behind the group.

Both guards immediately slide hands to the pommel of their swords and one speaks up. "The honey is sweet today."

Fallin nods. "And the flowers are fragrant."

The guards drop their hands from their swords and step aside while the one who spoke says: "Ward down."

The ward in front of this door lowers as well and he turns to face the door, sliding a key into the place above the knob and turning. Then he opens the door and steps inside, semi blocking the entrance until the group steps inside. Once the group has entered, Fallin and the soldier share a glance and the soldier steps back outside closing the door. There's a click and then the ward slams back in place.

Inside, the living area is quite spacious with a couch, two cushioned chairs, and an empty fireplace in the stone wall. Saige would see her mother just dropping into one of the chairs with a loud sigh as the twins can be seen running around and over the furniture. Ad the group takes in the rest of the room, there are two halls each lined with doors. And off the side of the living area is a spacious kitchen where Fennel is washing the counters. The other siblings are not in sight.

“Hi there!” Saige shouts loudly, running into the room. “I’m here!”

She jumps over the couch, throws her arms out, and tackles the twins into a hug. She laughs, smiling more genuinely than Jade or Storm have seen in months.

After a few seconds, she lets them go, and runs over to her mom.

“Mama!” Saige squeezes her into a tight hug, lifting her from the chair. Her eyes move to the kitchen. “Fennel, stop cleaning, it’s fine!”

Jade enters the room with the group. Her eyes widen at the high energy family before her. She has not had much interaction with family type things before and this was definitely different than what she pictured. Either way she smiled at the group of elves and gestured a small wave to them as she waited for Saige to introduce her.

Sylissa returns Saige's hug, squeezing her tightly. Her wide smile as she hugs her daughter does little to hide the exhaustion in her eyes. "Oh Saige! It's so good to see you again."

Fennel looks up from cleaning the counters and gives a short wave before he finishes sweeping crumbs into his hand to throw away. "Good. You're back. You can help us wrangle those two. They've been an absolute menace trapped in here with us."

Saige releases her mother and turns back towards the twins. She puts her hands on her hips.

"You better behave, don't want to get on the bad side of the nice people who are housing you." She grins mischievously. "Plus I can kick your butts now. At the same time!"

She laughs, and turns back to her mom.

"Where's everyone else? I have people you all need to officially meet, and we have to do some talking now that we have time."

"They're around here somewhere. I think Basil was going to try to go out to find something to hunt for dinner. Rosemary is asleep in her room, Clove gave her something to help her sleep. And Lavender is around somewhere. I think she's trying to decorate to make this place feel more like home."
