Shackled Saige....

Jade goes to hug Storm first and stealthy tries to slip a folded peice of paper in her pocket. Jade then turns to Saige and tries to hug her through the bars.

"I heard you were incarcerated. I'm sorry I wasn't here sooner. I had a long talk with quite a lot of people about this. I don't think this is the right choice. I'm trying to do my part to fix it. Are you alright?"

Saige looks like she hasn't slept, and her hands are ice cold as she tries to return the hug, but she seems happy as Jade speaks.

"It's okay, Storm has been with me!" When Jade asks if she's alright, Saige winces. "I... no. I'm not. I think if I saw Miquella right now, I would tear these bars open and rip his throat out. But that's one of the reasons why I'm in here, isn't it?"

Saige lets out a dark chuckle, her eyes burning with silent fury.

Jade frowns with worry.

"Apparently there is more at work here than I was aware. I am trying to help make it right. But you aren't wrong. You do need to work on taming your rage. I spoke with Knight Master Selina and she wants you to train with Prince Kalil to help control your rage."

Jade rubs her hands together vigorously. After a moment she places her warm hands on Saige's hands.

"I am working to get you out of this cell and the charges dropped. I'm trying to use my baroness powers the best I can."

Storm returns Jade's hug and steps back to let Jade approach Saige, looking relieved. "Well, now that we know for sure that you are against this... It makes me question why it's happening even more. What is his end goal here? This feels malicious. And like a big waste of a lot of important people's time."

"Thanks Jade..." She listens to both of them and shakes her head. "I just want to leave. After this trial, I can't be around him. I'll train with Kalil if I have to but Miquella's gone too far this time."

She takes a step back and puts her head in her hands.

"This isn't just him thinking I'm a monster, telling me that everyone is going to hate me or be scared of me, it's like he actually wants me dead, and that he wants it to be an example in front of the whole city."

"I don't have all the answers yet. But when I do I will let you know. And as for not being around Miquella, you take as much time as you need. I want you to feel safe. We are friends and we are sisters. Us spooky bitches got to stick together."

Jade smiles trying to lighten the mood.

"After this is over I would like to move you and your family into Seshtau lands. We can work together to pick a spot that works best for you. Then maybe you can have some much needed relaxation. And of course Storm is welcome to live there as well. Would that be ok?"
