Shackled Saige....

Saige throws her arms through the bars to give Jade another hug. Her voice breaks as she says, "Spooky sisters forever."

She hugs Jade for a minute before stepping back towards Storm, sniffling and wiping her cheeks.

"That sounds perfect to me. I think they'll be safer there than anywhere." She looks to Storm, holding her hand out. "How about you? Up for more adventures in Seshtau?"

Storm takes Saige's hand and kisses her knuckles. "Of course, urzo. I'll follow you anywhere." She looks to Jade. "Thank you for being a true friend to Saige."

"Oh! Before I forget."

Jade reaches in her satchel and pulls out a folded paper. She looks around to make sure they are alone. Once she is sure they are the only ones she reads it in a hushed voice.

"OK come closer. I want to read this to you but we need to be quiet about it."

The note reads:

Saige,

I know you probably don’t want to hear from me but I did not want this. I’m going to do everything I can to fix this and make sure you’re okay. Maybe after this I can show you that I really am your friend and earn the friendship rock back. I have a lot of research to do but until then hang in there. I’m going to make sure you walk free.

Saige smiles lovingly at Storm, then walks close to Jade, sticking an ear through the bar to hear better. She listens, and looks to Jade hopefully.

"So... Zuigrii's not mad at me?" She laughs. "Here I am getting charged with both of your attempted murders and neither of you are mad... I've got the best friends in the world."

Jade quickly stuffs the note back in her pouch.

"That's the thing. Neither one of us asked for charges to be brought up. This whole thing is just out of nowhere."

Storm folds her arms across her chest and taps her foot. "I suppose it'll be a quick trial if neither of the offended people actually wants her to face charges. So that's good at least. Assuming it even makes it to that point anyways." She smiles at Saige. :See? Nothing to worry about! They're still your friends. Even if Zuiigri gave you back the rock, he wants to earn it back."
