Saige's Training

Kalil arrives one morning at Saige's camp, ready for training. He's wearing his typical grey tunic and black pants but he has no swords this time. When he arrives at Saige's camp, he whistles loudly.

Storm pokes her head out of their tent and smiles at the Prince. Good morning, Your Highness." She leans back into the tent to wake Saige up. "Hey, the Prince is here. Time to wake up."

Kalil waits patiently outside, pulling out a knife which he twirls in his hands absent mindedly.

Saige crawls over to the door to the tent and peeks out, half asleep.

"Did you have to come in the morning Kalil? I hate the sun." She complains, but starts to get up. "Is this part of my training? To make me angry about the sun?"

Kalil chuckles. "Is it working?"

Storm chuckles too as she climbs out of the tent and goes to sit next to their fire pit to pull her boots on.

But honestly, no. It's just what time it happens to be when I get here. It's actually late afternoon back home. I never really know what time of day it's going to be when I come out. Last time it was morning at the Manor too."

Saige blinks.

"Oh yeah, I never really know what time it's going to be when I get here, either. Because sometimes I'll leave Volaire and get here in the middle of the night, and sometimes the sun has barely moved. I get it."

She nods and goes to sit by Storm.

"The sun makes me angry but not that angry. So what heinous ideas have you come up with to unnecessarily torture me with today?"

Kalil puts his knife away and smirks. "Okay. Last time was the basics. This time, I'm gonna try to piss you off for real."

So they begin her training for the day, Kalil doing what he can to actually piss her off short of killing Storm.

After a couple of hours, Kalil holds up his hand. "Alright. Enough. We can stop for the day. I think I've pushed you hard enough for one day." He smiles at Saige. "You don't hate me for real though right?"

She crosses her arms, looking incredibly grumpy.

"No, I don't hate you. I still think this is stupid though."

Saige kicks the dirt, trying to think of a plan of revenge against Kalil for the training, when she suddenly looks up at him and grins mischievously.

"Hey Kalil. You should totally come meet my family!"
