Saige's Training

Valerian perks up and jumps to his feet. He rushes over to where Rosemary is sitting and snatches her crayon and stack of papers from her hands. She let's out a "hey!" and then jumps to her feet to chase after him as he runs down the hall with her tools.

Ruvean turns to Kalil. "Ah hello! It's a pleasure to meet you, Kalil. So you plan to have a lot of children huh? Well, let me tell you, it can be a handful but it is worth every moment."

Kalil blushes and holds up a hand. "Nope. No. Uh... No, thank you. I uh... I don't plan to be a dad for a good long while yet."

Ruvean chuckles. "What a shame. I'm sure that you would love it. My kids are the light of my life. I wouldn't know what to do without them."

Kalil looks down. "Yeah... Sure... I just... It's not... Time."

Saige goes over to where Storm is standing and holds her hand.

"What do you think? Good enough revenge for stupid training?" She laughs. "I don't think he expected this at all."

Storm struggles to stop laughing as she holds Saige's hand. "Oh yeah! This was- *chuckle* This was amazing!"

Kalil turns to narrow his eyes at Storm and mouths "shut up" at Storm. To which she starts laughing again and Kalil rolls his eyes.

"You've got a... Nice family Saige. Chaotic but I guess I shouldn't have expected anything less." He smiles at Saige. "And there's more? Jeez..."

"Mhmm!" She grins at Kalil. "My family is the best. Just wait until we're all together again! We'll have to invite you to family music nights. I can't wait to sing for the alligators!"

She turns to Rosemary.

"Rosemary! You have to write a song for the alligators!"

"On it! What do alligators look like again? And what do they like?" Rosemary calls over her shoulder as she hovers over Valerian who is quickly scribbling out a drawing.

Kalil nods. "Family music night huh? Maybe we can invite Connor and Zinna. They really like to dance. But we'll see. That's not a guarantee they can join us. Just depends on... Things."

"Uhhhh they're big! And scaly! And they have a really long face, and lots and lots of teeth. Also a tail. And they swim, but also walk." She thinks for a moment. "They like to wrestle, and eat things. And also roll around. Especially while wrestling."

She then turns to Kalil.

"Ohhh! We should definitely invite them! And we can throw a party for Connor because he got me out of jail!"
