Shackled Saige....

Kalil sighs. "You are totally justified in your feelings, Saige. I would be pretty pissed if someone I trusted betrayed me too." He turns to Jade and Storm. "Sorry for just busting in and taking over. I just needed her to know what I knew about it. In terms of how the law would view it anyways. My personal opinion won't matter unless the King asks for it." He smiles at Jade. "How are things, Baroness? I know it's been crazy lately."

Storm bows to Kalil when he turns around. "Thank you for that explanation, Your Highness. I think... You at least helped me better understand what's going on. Doesn't mean I'm not upset about it but.." She smiles slightly and then walks up to the bars again, sticking her hand through. "No matter what, I'm by your side, Saige."

Saige moves to sit by the bars next to Storm, curls up into her knees again, and reaches to hold Storm’s hand.

"I've been trying to take care of a couple matters in Seshtau. But next gathering of heros I should be present. How are things at the manor?"

Kalil glances down at Saige and a brief look of sadness crosses his features before he returns his attention to the Baroness. He folds his arms across his chest and shrugs.

"Chaos but that's pretty normal at this point. Zinna has a new friend and she's... Well, she's definitely a friend from what I've experienced so far. She gave us some good intel on..." He looks around, noting the guards walking around. "Things. Her name is Vesta, if you have a chance to meet her. She's a good person at heart." He looks down and scuffs the ground with his boot. "Otherwise, things are pretty... Well, normal is relative huh? Had a lot of visitors lately..." He shrugs, looking up again. "So basically the same."

Storm squeezes Saige's hand and then releases it as she stands. "I'm gonna swing by the tavern for a bit. See what news is flying around town. I'll be back though okay?" She smiles at Saige.
