A portal opens...

Astra smiles, giggling a bit. “That would be because we are hard to find. And more or less, we’re more akin to killing than fucking. Fey, faries, ramtovi curses, vampires…you name it, I’ve probably have alchemy materials from it if it has posed a problem.”

“I’m glad to hear Saige is well and her usual, energetic self.” With a smile, she takes a minute before processing what is said. “Wait…you said the vampires are gone? A shame, I do have a blood bowl from their fountain. Now I’m curious to what properties it may hold in the magical realm…”

Jade snaps her attention to the elf at the mention of the bowl.

"You took a bowl from the vampires and you have no idea what it does?"

Jade holds out her hand towards Astra.

"Alright hand it over. You can't keep that without it being identified. You idiot. You could have cursed yourself. For your sake I hope it's just a bowl."

"Ramtovi curses huh?"
She sniffs the air towards her.
"You're not a Tovi so I don't know what you think you were fixing but it wasn't our curses."
She shakes her head and stands up straighter, tightening her grip on her pommel as she watches her carefully.
"Yeah. Dead. I eliminated a problem. It's kinda what I do. And she's right, best to mess with strange things with people who know what they're doing and have proper protections in place."

“Unfortunately, if your plans are to scare me, you’ll have no such luck with all the yelling.” She smiles. “Besides, I do not have plans to hand it over. If I am cursed then it’s best to leave a ‘cursed’ object with its taker. Taking any cursed object from the taker puts the taker more at risk for issues from said object and its affinities and parties related. You of all people should understand curses are curses and work in mysterious ways.“ She bows slightly.

“ I will keep it safe and within my hands. I don’t know you very well, your intensions, or what you will do with it. I’m very distrustful to things I have found, especially so now at your reaction to such things. Not everyone is inept with such object, Miss Jade.”

She walks back over to her highly spec’ed lab, before packing the bowl back into her pouch, sealing it with ropes and ward tapes. “Regardless of anything, I plan to investigate it to see what it does. Regardless of you and your magic, I’m quite fine at handling curses on my own, as I’ve been afflicted before, but thank you for the concern and it is apperciated.”

“Simply put, I am unable to even try to fix a curse if I am unsure of the curse and its details. Forgive me, but I haven’t my hand toward any curse recently. I am more than happy to work for you and help any curses you currently have. Every hand and mind is helpful when it comes to them. And about my bowl, I plan to hold onto it. I have proper protections at my home, which means it is safe in its value and power. I do no intend to sound smart or pretentious in any form and I apologize if it has come out as such. As you do not know me very well, I do not know you both well enough to entrust you with my own items if interest.”

Selena looks to Jade and shrugs before she looks back to Astra.
"Well, I'm the knight master to the kingdom, and this is Lady Jade, a noble of this kingdom who's fairly well versed in darkness magics and undead."
She takes a deep calming breath, closing her eyes and stretching her fingers for a second before she folds her arms over her chest again, once more leaning on the ward.
"That's undead business so I'll leave it to Lady Jade to handle you and it. And I strongly suggest you stay out of Tovi business. We curse those that deserve it."
