A portal opens...

“I just do hope we can be more peaceful than sudden jumping to swords and threats, Miss Selena. I am not a person without reason. I am willing to hand it over but I have my own requirements as to being the person who found the item, the least you could do is allow me such respect.”

She takes a breath, calming herself. “All I wish is to investigate it on my own. I am more than happy to come with to get it identified but only if I am able to come with and keep such a find on my person. It may hold secrets on how to deal with vampires in an easier way than simply slaying the undead monsters if it is to be studied, no?”

Selena tilts her head and quirks her eyebrow. "Ok. So I take it you have no idea who I am, so I'll let it slide that you just walked up and tried to claim you've been undoing my people's curse workings."
Her hand goes back to the pommel of her sword.
"And I didn't draw. I was still trying to be peaceful. I'm still trying to be peaceful. I don't give a shit about the vampire bowl. Do whatever you want with it. If you become my problem, I'll solve my problem however I need to. Plain and simple."
She tightens her grip on the pommel and takes a deep breath.
"And it's Knight Master, Or Commander. Not Miss. I'm not some random unmarried woman. I'm a knight and a knightmaster and a commander of three armies. My titles will be respected if you expect any in return."

Miquella sitting down closing his eyes listening to the ongoing talk opens his eyes, and stands up as Selena speaks. He moves back over to the barrier. He looks at Astra and back at Selena. “May interject Knight Master? Only for a brief moment?” He says calmly.

Astra quickly bows, recognizing where her mistake was, “Oh, my sincerest apologies Commander! I have never said I was trying to undo any of your curses and misunderstood the scenario. I was under the impression there was another non-Tovi curse. My apologies for the ignorance. I only wish to help however I can and be of some use to the kingdom but I see I will escort myself away from here to cause less problems.”

She bows to both Selena and Jade, almost upset. “Have a good evening, to the both of you.”

Without delay, she quickly withdraws from the conversation, pulling out flattened satchels and filling them with her things.

Miquella shrugs to Selena as Astra turns away. “Well never mind?” He moves to sit back down and looks up at the barrier again. He squints his eyes in curiosity. “Ward down?” He says questionably.

Jade sighs and shakes her head.

"Nobody is threatening you. Look... You are obviously new to town. To this land even. Just calm down and come back."

Jade walks over to Astra and puts a hand on her shoulder. She tries to gently get her to turn to face Jade and the group.

"If our words have upset you let me be the first to apologize. But you have to understand that things are done a certain way here. Your magics and rituals don't work here. Maybe they did in the Sihde. But not here. I am not going to take your bowl. But please... Allow me to identify it for you. I can identify it right here right now. Tensions are high when it comes to magic items like this. I am an expert on dark and undead magics. Let's try and start over."

Jade takes a step back to give Astra space to take her words in.
