Nighttime Drinks

With a huge smile, Astra turns to Selena. “Knightmaster! You’ve joined us!”

Astra waives down the bartend, pointing to Selena. “I’ll buy whatever she wants!”

As she does and hear’s Selena’s remark, Astra giggles a little as she moves over to ket he knightmaster sit. ” Vervain and rosemary? Sounds like a hallucinogenic to me…which may give clearer answers and negate some pain. Hm, I should find some and make a pate, makes a good pain killer.”

Astra picks up her card, looking at Saige as she leaves. “Well, I may not have known how to answer her, but perhaps in the future that will help her out.”

She looks back up at Selena then at Bloodwulf, who appears to be in thought. ”Would either of you like one as well? If not, do not feel pressured to humor me. It may seem occult like, but its simply inner wisdom, especially if you are struggling with things right now.

Selena snaps her attention to Astra, throwing her hands up.
"Woah. No. No. uh huh. Don't look at my shit. You'll probably die and I don't feel like dealing with that." She says with a chuckle at the end and rolling her eyes.
"Preciate the offer, but like the rock, I don't need it."

She looks over to Blodwulf, then back to Astra. "He's free to do what he wants.... to an extent anyway."

Saige laughs at Selena's responses. “Okay, but if you ever change your mind, I have lots and lots of rocks!”

She returns to her seat, placing another leaf on Blodwulf’s head as she passes. Grinning to herself, she turns to Astra.

“Astra, do you want to play a game?” There’s a glint in her eye as she says this, mischievous but with a hint of something else as well.

Selena looks over Saige again and takes a few steps back when she mentions wanting to play a game and shakes her head. "Yep. Already spent too much time around the fairies."

She looks over to Blodwulf and sighs, then makes her way over to his table, taking a seat and propping her feet up in an empty chair, signaling to the barkeep to bring some bottles over, handing the waitress a couple of pieces of gold when they bring over a dusty bottle of bright orange liquid and a regular bottle of whiskey and a glass.

"Oh shit! Didn't know I still had some of this here." She says excitedly as she pours herself a glass from the orange bottle, and a glass of whiskey for Blodwulf.

"Head up soldier." She says as she slides the glass of whiskey over, closing her eyes as she takes a long sip of her own. "hmm." She chuckles to herself as she sniffs the glass.

With a look of mischief in her face, Astra looks rather interested in what kind of game this would be. ”Only if you’ll tell me the game, Miss Saige.”

A muddy elf crashes rather noisily through the tavern’s entrance. He glances around in momentary surprise and confusion as though thrown off by his own clumsiness. In his grip with knuckles white but stained in dirt, patiently waits an equally dirty shovel. It noisily clangs into chairs and tables as he steps past, his red cloak following meekly as though silently apologizing to the patrons around.

Finally, he finds his way to the bar. Placing his recently used shovel atop the once rather clean counter, he speaks while simultaneously pulling a journal out from some dark fold in his clothes.

“Good evening, dear barkeep. I’m hoping for a rather… powerful brew. Any suggestions?”


He places barely silver silver next to the shovel - just enough for something terrible and unsatisfying.

As the barkeep grumpily considers even humoring the elf’s request, said figure turns and peers around at the room around him - before suddenly leaping up from his position and striding towards Astra Cadeum.
