Nighttime Drinks

He bows his head again as she takes the rose. (Nothing happens)
"Jep mèkfud ko ùlyì nyùs èch ɛchì nyùs mad’ èlfe o hà d’àhlej"

He stands from his bow and smiles. "I will be around town for some time. I've purchased a residence just outside of the town proper, near the docks. By missive or scout or rap upon my door, I will be at your service, dùma-negyam."

The elf blinks rapidly as he peers around at the many patrons of the bar including those just speaking to and around his target, as if only just now realizing they were there. He motions vaguely and loosely, perhaps as an apology to those but quickly returns his attention to Astra.

“Ah. Apois, I meant not to cause any such disruption, or, as it were, such rude interruption. I approach you now simply as it were that you are the first somewhat familiar face I’ve seen in…” He pauses, counting in his mind. After seemingly running out of space his recollection continues on his fingers, before an exasperated surrender to the armies of time and basic math escapes him.

“An extended period.” He leans a little closer, his brow furrowed and squinting in aggressive contemplation. “Do I know you? Perhaps a member of House Cadeum?”

Lighting up at the mention of her house, Astra’s eyes snap to his face. She scans him over for a minute, still trying to place his face to a name. She straightens herself for a moment, pulling up her skull mask just a tad more to totally reveal her face.

”I am a member, yes, but I am part of the family that had started the home. I’m Astra, Astra Cadeum. Does that ring any bells to you, sir?”

She looks him over again, studying his face.

”…your face looks extremely familiar. Were you part of the House or were you somebody we had connections too here?”

Selena blushes ever so slightly as she smiles down at the rose, finally sniffing it, then smiles back up to Peyote with a nod.

"Thank you. I'll let you know if I need anything."

She glances around the room, taking note of the few of her soldiers, carefully watching the situation even on their off duty while enjoying drinks and food, then back to Peyote.

Peyote bows once more and then turns on his heel and returns to the table with Maximilian.
"I think I'm gonna like it here."

Maximilian sighs and shakes his head.

Miquella walks into the tavern gold runes adorn his body. He wears simple clothes and damp hair. A shirt cut off at the sleeves, black pants, thin cloak, simple boots, and a belt adorn with two favors. One in White and Gold and the other in Black and White. He looks around the tavern to see some familiar faces and new ones. He walks to the barkeep rolling his eyes once he spots Max, but walking past him without a word. He reaches the barkeep

“Yes, may just get some water and food please. I’ll be sitting over there.”

He points to where Selena is. Then he makes his way over to Selena and sees the gentlemen she is talking to

“Sorry to interrupt. May I sit here?” He smiles pointing at the chair next to her.
