Nighttime Drinks

With a smirk, Saige chuckles. “Okay okay, I play this all the time with my siblings, it’ll be fun especially because you make potions too!”

She retrieves a few vials from her purse, then goes to the bar to ask for 10 shot glasses and a pitcher of water. When she returns to the table, she sets the 10 glasses in a row.

“Okay, so I’m going to fill three of these with poison, and the rest with water. But don’t worry, it’s just little poisons, nothing that will kill you. We’re going to play something Valerian calls, “Truth or Dare Poison Shots”. We’ll play truth or dare, and if one of us refuses to answer, we have to take a shot. There’s a 3/10 chance it’s poison. Sounds fun, right?!”

She grins, excited for the game.

“It’s even more fun if we get more people to play!”

*picking his head up and grabbing the bottle of whisky around the neck, he pulls the cork out and takes a long pull from the bottle* "I 'preciate it, commander. I also appreciate you doing what you're doing for me. Can I speak freely with you, Commander?"

Selena watches the man enter, and groans when puts his dirty shovel on the bar, and rolls her eyes. Her hand flying to the pommel of her sword at his sudden movements towards Astra. When Blodwulf speaks up, she glances to him and takes a sip of her drink, still keeping an eye on the unknown elf.

"Permission granted."

"Well tug my tits, what do we have here? Maxie.... you didn't tell me there were Tovi in this town."

The Elf hops up and walks over toward Selena, his eyes darting down to her favor. He stops a respectable distance away and clears his throat while bowing low.

In an elegant dialect of the Ramtovi native tongue, he says, "Hà ehda ɡɛdehluj, dùma-negyam, gèw pum sukuybùn ha sukuf. Sud’o Peyote Blayde. D’à ɛchìn nyùs nyì ɪkawybàn èsultàn hà ɲi-bawsnyawsù."

He raises his head to meet her eyes while remaining bent at the waist.
"I am a purveyor of hard-to-acquire goods and services. If there is ever something you require, me jùd’ ɗɐchèk."

He snaps his fingers and seems to pluck a black rose from thin air. He wafts it under his nose, breathing deeply, and then holds it out to Selena.

Astra smiles excitedly. Watching her fill the cups and explain her game.“Sure Saige, I’m game. Plus, I have some poison remedies.”

As she watches, she looks up to see the elf come into the tavern, looking away for a moment before Selena’s movement catches her eye.

Astra looks back up and notices the tall elf man, looking at him inquisitively. With his face covered, she speaks up. “Uhm, may I help you?”

Selena snaps her attention to the elf and Max at the mention of the word Tovi then carefully watches as Peyote approaches, blinking at him in silence for a few moments as he bows and speaks.

"Um." She starts, then shakes her head and clears her throat.
"I mèmì mìp jid ka d’àhlej. D’àp ed."
She says as she slowly takes the rose, eyeing her ring as she touches it.

"What's the best way to reach you?"
