A Tovi arrives in town...

One early morning, when the sky is still a display of pastels, a brightly colored vardo approaches the gates to Volaire.

A short woman dressed in various purples and teals greets the guards with a wave. Her golden jewelry jingles as she makes the motion. Her grey hair is a stark contrast to her vibrant Tovi clothing.

"Good morning! I hope the night treated you well, friends." She smiles brightly, and turns to a soldier dressed in black and white. "Ah, I was instructed to alert you to my arrival, so that you may relay the message to her highness, Princess Zinna Udinov. Please inform her that Vesta has arrived in the city and is eager to see her!"

The addressed soldier bows his head and trots off towards the manor portal while another steps up to guide Vesta closer to the tavern and help her find a good spot to park.

About the time Vesta and the soldier get the vardo set up and the horses unhitched, Zinna, and Edgar come through the portal.

Zinna is dressed in browns and reds with gold jewelry on her neck, wrists and hands, along with a gold bell hip scarf and gold beads sparkled through her hair.

Edgar is in a black and white kilt with touches of icy blue, sleeveless black leather top, and arm bands on his biceps made of silver, black obsidian, pearls and sapphires.

As the approach the vardo, Zinna smiles wide and opens her arms as she calls out to her new friend. Very excited to see her.

Edgar seems mildly nervous, but stands with his hands behind his back at attention.

"Vesta! Welcome! I'm sorry I got busy and forgot to write. The town recently got attacked, so it's not as nice now as I said before."

"Oh! That's quite alright!" Vesta excitedly greets her friend, taking the Princess into a hug if she's allowed. "I noticed the town appears to be in quite a state... perhaps I can be of assistance? After I get settled, I'll see what I can do."

After a minute of gushing over Zinna's attire, Vesta notices the man standing to the side. She gives him an informal curtsy, her belts and jewelry continuing to sound.

"Pardon my discourtesy, sir. I was simply too excited to remember my manners." Vesta smiles warmly. "I am Vestarin Maireni of Clan Solsari, but please, call me Vesta."

A few moments after Zinna comes through the portal, Kalil stumbles out with Connor following closely behind, snickering at him.

Kalil is wearing a fine black vest over a white tunic and black pants while Connor is wearing his usual white robes. Kalil has a sword on each hip and Connor walks with a staff in his dominant hand.

"Where did she go?" Kalil straightens and adjusts his vest before spotting Zinna, Edgar, and Vesta. "Oh."

He takes Connor by the hand and walks over to the trio.

"Heya, Vesta." Kalil smiles and then turns to look around the town. "Shit... We missed a lot."

Connor smiles and waves at Vesta. "Hi Vesta. It's good to see you again."

Zinna returns the hug and the gushing over the outfit and the vardo. Edgar just smiles as he watches the two ladies. When Vesta addresses him, he bows at the waist, and Zinna steps over to motion to him.

"Oh! Yes! This is Edgar! We're still working on making all of his name. He used to be our death knight guardian and now he's alive and family!"

Edgar smiles, and seems to relax slightly. "So far we've got Nasir Edgar. Haven't decided last name or clan name yet. Whether I'll take hers or my knightmaster's."

When Kalil and Connor arrive, Edgar turns to them and bows to both of them. "Good morning Your highness."

"A death knight?" Vesta's face looks stunned, but she quickly replaces it with a smile once more. "That is certainly... interesting. Regardless, it is a pleasure to meet you, Sir Edgar. Any family of the Princess is mine as well. Please let me know how to address you when you decide."

She gives him a nod, and turns to the approaching princes.

"Prince Kalil! Prince Connor! What a lovely surprise! It's wonderful to see you again." She greets them excitedly, as she did with Zinna. Addressing everyone, she says, "Oh, have you had breakfast yet? I wanted to make it to the city before I made a meal for myself, it's early yet. I've got breads and pastries ready to go in the oven if anyone is interested! I'm absolutely famished."
