A Tovi arrives in town...

Vesta smiles as she looks at the table.

"Oh, thank you! Sorry, I wasn't expecting to be chatting so long."

She begins working with a small laugh.

"I believe you. I thought I was going to pass out, I was so nervous! I'm glad she's nice, though. Definitely makes me feel more comfortable, knowing that there's someone else here with the sight."

Vesta puts one tray of cookies in the oven and prepares the other. Not looking up from her work she asks Zinna, "How long have you known her?"

Zinna smiles and shakes her head. "No need for apologies. I did not mind. I am surprised she stayed as long as she did too. Am surprised she did not even ask to just pull all ov jour memories out of jour head. Dat is vhat she usually does vhen she meets new people." Zinna says with a chuckle.

When asked how long she's known Selena, she thinks to herself for a moment before she answers. "Vell... joo see, time is different in de manor. Because ov de magic. Technically I ave only known her for a few years, maybe 5 to 6? Around there. Vell I ave only experienced maybe 5 to 6 years worth of time vith her. It haz been about 30 years iv joo base it on the way time works ere on de prime." She looks as if she's confusing herself as she thinks for a moment, then shakes her head and looks back up with a smile. "Dragon magic is very... strange. I ave only spent about 6 years away from my clan, but my clan has gone 30 years without me. Not counting the occasional visit."

Vesta raises an eyebrow with a ‘hmm’.

“That’s very strange. It must be odd to leave the manor and find things vastly different than the last time you were there. Are you not worried about outliving your family and friends?” She blinks. “Are people from the manor significantly older than they appear to be? Or would you even consider them older because it’s only been a long time from this side? What year did you go in there?? Oh, this is making my head spin. I need to stop thinking about it. I’ll start to spiral down a thought trail.”

She laughs.
