A Tovi arrives in town...

"Yes! Breakfast would be wonderful! I hadn't really started breakfast when the soldier told me you'd arrived."

"I could almost always eat, and I love pastries. Especially the sweet sugary kinds!"

"This one will eat anything and everything. He'll eat all your sweet breads if you don't keep an eye on him." Zinna says, lightly poking Edgar in the ribs with her elbow as he grins sheepishly, then shrugs his admittance with a chuckle.

Vesta lights up.

"It's settled then. I'll make plenty!"

She rolls up her sleeves and walks over to the vardo, opening the doors and shutters. She pulls down a table from the side, fiddling with the contraption until she gets it set up.

Turning to Edgar, she says, "Would you mind helping me with the chairs please? I'll hand them to you."

Before she can get a response, she hops up into her little carriage and disappears for a moment, coming back with four chairs and a tablecloth, smiling brightly.

Kalil grins. "Oh yeah! I'm pretty hungry. Zinna told us you were here before we got breakfast."

Connor smiles. "I'm pretty hungry too. And your pastries were delicious so I'd be honored to eat them again."

Kalil waits until the chairs are set up and takes a seat. Connor takes the seat next to his.

"Any special reason you chose to come to Volaire?" Kalil asks.

Connor let's out a gasp and stands up. "Can I help you with anything?"

Edgar happily jumps into action helping Vesta set up the table and chairs, as Zinna takes a seat. "Yes! If you need someting let us know. I can send someone to try to find it."

After Edgar's helped set up the table and chairs, he excuses himself for a moment while he goes over to talk to a couple soldiers near by. The soldiers nod and head off in different directions, and Edgar heads back over to the group.

A few minutes later, several soldiers approach and step into defensive positions around the group in a large circle to protect them, making sure to stay far enough away to give them a bit of privacy, but close enough to close ranks and protect the royal princes and princess in a heartbeat.

"Thank you, Sir Edgar." Vesta smiles warmly at the group. "Hold that question for just a second, your Highness!"

Rustling can be heard in the vardo for a second before Vesta appears again with a large box, setting it down. It is filled with plates, cups, and silverware, with particularly fancy looking spoons.

"Prince Connor, if you don't mind helping set the table? I can do it if it's too much trouble, of course. And to answer your question, Prince Kalil, the Princess so kindly invited me to come visit! I am delighted to come and see what adventures I can find here."

Vesta disappears back into the vardo. A light tune carries its way out, and the sounds of oven doors closing and the mixing of something in a bowl can be heard.

Connor takes the plates and silverware and begins setting them in their places. Meanwhile, Kalil looks out at the soldiers surrounding them and then passed them at the town.

"I feel like I should be doing something out there. The town looks awful. I feel pretty bad we weren't here to help." He returns his attention to the group and fiddles with the silverware Connor places in front of him. He falls quiet for several moments while he stares at the plate in front of him before he lifts his head again and smiles. "So, what's on the menu today Vesta?"
